Personalized Estate Planning

I became an estate planning attorney because of my family.

I’m a husband and a dad of two. My daughter has special needs, and from the moment she was born, I understood in a completely different way what it means to plan ahead. Not as a legal exercise, but as an act of love.

My family and my experience shapes every client conversation I have.

Why I do this work

Estate planning isn’t just for later in life. It’s for right now – for the parent of a 2-year-old who hasn’t gotten around to a will yet, for the firefighter whose family would be lost without a plan, for the mom who lies awake wondering what would happen to her daughter if something happened to her.

I built this practice around those families because I am one of those families.

My process

Most meetings are virtual for your convenience, and when it’s time to sign documents, I typically come to you. My office is always available as well for meetings and signings, if that is more convenient.

My goal is simple: make this process feel like relief, not another task on your ever-growing to-do list.

Here’s the typical process:

Complimentary Consultation

We will hold a virtual meeting to get to know each other, discuss your family and your situation, and determine the best estate planning options for your family.

Design Meeting

We’ll meet again to go into the nitty gritty details of your estate plan – who will serve in what roles, where you’d like our assets to go, and how you can set your family up for success and stability.

Estate Plan Creation

I transform your decisions and priorities into comprehensive, legally compliant estate planning documents. We work together to review them and tweak them until they’re just right.

Signing Ceremony

We meet in person, with two witnesses, to fully execute your estate planning documents in accordance with the required legal formalities.

Delivery

I deliver your documents in an attractive, organized binder. You will have them in both original hard-copy and PDF format, for ease of storage and sharing.

Ongoing Relationship

Even after your plan is completed, signed, and delivered, I encourage my clients to reach out to me whenever they have a question or a major life change.

My Core Values

Family first. Every plan I create starts with one question: what does this family actually need?
Clarity over complexity. The law doesn’t have to be confusing. I’ll make sure you understand every decision before you make it.
No two families are the same. I take the time to understand your situation before I draft a single document.
Preparation is peace of mind. The unexpected happens. A good plan means your family is protected when it does.
